Description

The Production and Service Office is a unit within the Service Administration.

The operation is revenue-financed through sales to various departments and companies of the City of Trollhättan, and we have a total of about 80 employees. The services provided include earthworks, green space maintenance, road maintenance, vehicle and workshop mechanical work, transport services, and storage services. The operation also includes internal mail delivery, property management, and property services.

Job Responsibilities

The position focused on road maintenance includes all tasks commonly found in the industry. Work in other departments may occur. Our main tasks are:

  • Maintenance of the city's streets and roads.
  • Asphalt work.
  • Sign maintenance.
  • Snow removal and sanding with machinery or trucks.
  • Loaders are used for loading, grading, and transporting materials.
  • Responsibility for compliance is applied.
  • Truck driving.
  • Line marking.
  • Stone setting work.

Qualifications

You should have completed Construction and Civil Engineering at the high school level or equivalent and/or verified work experience. A Class BE driver's license is required; Class C and completed YKB are advantageous. Experience with snow removal using vehicles is a plus. Experience in asphalt work or adjustments is highly advantageous. You should have computer skills to manage task descriptions and time reporting. Basic knowledge of reading drawings is a requirement.

As a person, you are service-oriented, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You are driven, structured, and enjoy working with others. Since the position involves many meetings with both colleagues and clients, a professional demeanor is required. Good physical condition is necessary to handle the work as heavy lifting and construction work are part of the job. You are resilient to stress.

Employment Information

Permanent position 100% with start date as agreed. A medical examination may be part of the recruitment process. On-call duty is included, and irregular working hours may occur.
